Who is Philoptochos?

Philoptochos is YOU and with your participation we are able to provide food to the poor, support the seminarians at Holy Cross, bring holiday cheer to our elderly parishioners, and local homeless mothers and children.   We together are making a difference.

Your continued support of our Assumption Long Beach Chapter has kept the mission of Philoptochos alive. Please join today to become a new  member, or a renewed member.  You make an important difference just by being a member.  We sincerely thank you for your support support and we once again ask you to make a commitment to renew your Membership.    

The minimum annual membership pledge is $40.00.   From that amount our local chapter contributes $15 to National and $15 to Metropolis to support large, national ministries.  This leaves $10 to support our Long Beach Chapter. Your membership is appreciated, and enables our chapter to help where help is needed.

We once again ask you to reach out to those women and men in our community who are not Philoptochos members and Invite them to offer their talents to the mission of Philoptochos, so they can Embrace their ideas of compassion for their fellow man.    Please help Involve those who can to offer their talents and ideas for the betterment of our community.   It is as simple as asking each other to care.
