A Ministry Tailor-Made for Our Youth
GOYA is the youth ministry for junior high and high school students at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Long Beach. It gives teens a place to belong, grow in their faith, and stay connected to a supportive Orthodox Christian community.
Growing in Faith and Community
GOYA encourages young people to deepen their relationship with Christ through fellowship, service, and participation in parish life. It helps teens navigate important years with guidance, connection, and purpose rooted in faith.
What Is GOYA?
GOYA stands for Greek Orthodox Youth of America and serves students in grades 6–12. It is a ministry focused on spiritual growth, fellowship, and engagement with the Church.
Why It Matters
These years shape identity and direction. GOYA provides a Christ-centered foundation where teens feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow into strong individuals and faithful Orthodox Christians.
